🍙 yuta is not traditionally a social person, but for once he makes a few moves on his own
🍙 by vol 0, ch 3 yuta is aware he’s considered pretty strong in terms of CE but thought he couldn’t defeat the curse alone without toge

both are very protective and started off distant but were more alike than different. they are so similar in mindset and motivation. they understand what it’s like in the porcupine dilemma and figure it out together. shared trauma can be a very powerful thing in bringing people closer, being in similar situations opens up a whole new level of understanding.

toge is described as a “prankster”, acting more light hearted and fun in order to cheer peers up, but he shows his first instance of deeper and heavier emotions worrying over yuta and how to help him.

we now know yuta was planning for something like shibuya and the events following, the elders are aware of toge’s and yuta’s relationship and that it’s strong enough to warrant yuta killing a stranger who is close to his own relative

🍙 also maki and panda were equally hurt by shibuya but yuta nor the elders mentioned them even though they are all good friends and were also gravely injured
🍙 gege clearly mentions later yuta is a very indecisive character, but here he is willing to make a binding vow just for toge

🍙 The only non-cursed word inumaki has said is yuuta’s name
🍙 the inumaki clan communicates with their hearts because of their cursed speech, it’s possible Yuta and Inumaki can understand each other because of that.
